[Econmaj] Economics Honor Society (ODE) Invitations

Dear Economics Major:

Economics juniors and seniors who have demonstrated high scholarship in the economics major and in overall college coursework should have received invitations to join Omicron Delta Epsilon (ODE), an international economics honor society, in the past couple of weeks at your local address.

Eligible students will have earned a minimum of 20 upper-division (300-and 400-level) economics credits with a minimum GPA of 3.3, and have achieved a minimum overall UW GPA of 3.2 by the end of Winter quarter 2012.  Statistics and calculus courses are omitted from the **major GPA** calculation.

If you are interested in the life-time ODE membership, please return the application form that was mailed to you with the one-time membership fee (checks to be made payable to ODE) to the Economics Student Services Office in 305 Savery Hall by June 15.   Do *not* send your membership application and check directly to ODE!
