graduate faculty members will answer all your questions fully and
candidly. Find out what admissions committees look for when reading
critical and creative writing samples. Discover how to get really
effective letters of recommendation. Learn what you have to do to
prepare yourself intellectually for the rigors of graduate level

BOO!! Yes, it's quite fitting that the statement of purpose workshop is
on Halloween this year. This is scary stuff! It's an unfamiliar
writing assignment with serious consequences. What should this essay
include? Leave out? How should it be organized? How important is it
in the admission process? Learn answers to all these questions PLUS get
a chance to see and critique several sample statements of purpose!
