I am emailing you in regards to Phi Eta Sigma’s 16th Annual Scholarship 
Symposium, which we will be hosting on Tuesday, November 8th, 2005. The 
Symposium is open to everyone, and will be a great, informational event. 
We would like to invite as many students (and staff/faculty) as possible 
to our Symposium, and would greatly appreciate it if you would let your 
students know about the Symposium.

The details are as follows:

16th Annual PES Scholarship Symposium
Tuesday, November 8, 2005
2:30pm-5:30pm
HUB West Ballroom

Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society would like to invite you to the 
16th Annual Scholarship Symposium, on Tuesday, November 8th from 2:30- 
5:30 p.m. at the HUB West Ballroom (second floor).  The Scholarship 
Symposium is organized to help you, students, acquire the funds needed 
to support your academic endeavors. It is a wonderful opportunity to 
learn about scholarship resources as well as what scholarship committees 
look for in selecting award recipients. The following four scholarship 
workshops will be presented at the Symposium.

Scholarship Symposium Workshops and Presenters:
Scholarship 101 by: Mona Pitre-Collins
How to get Letters of Recommendation by: Vega Subramaniam
The Personal Statement by: Brianna Keller
Interviewing Techniques by: Joel Migdal

Bring all your friends and come together, because this is definitely an 
event you don’t want to miss!
