                             STUDENT ASSISTANT POSITION AVAILABLE

One hourly position available immediately for a data entry person in the 
HPV DNA Probe Laboratory, Department of Pathology, located at Harborview 
Research and Training Bldg, 300 Ninth Ave.

Hours:  Temporary/Hourly
              10-15 hours/week

Salary:  $8.50/hr

Responsibilities:  Data entry
Logging in, labeling, and filing specimens including microscope
             slides, tissue blocks, frozen specimens.  Also specimen 
retrieval
  Prepare invoices for international shipping, packaging of supplies
Organizing supply invoices with their respective orders in order to close
            the order.
Ordering supplies as needed
Preparation of sample collection kits
Occasional dishwashing and autoclaving

Qualifications:
	UW student – prefer sophomore or junior
	Able to work through summer.  More hours available at that time
	Able to work 3 days/week
	Good typing skills
  	Computer literate
            	Excellent handwriting
	Organized
	Self starter
	Willing to trouble shoot problems
	Attention to detail
