January 08, 2007

Dear Professor Sonenberg,

On Thursday January 25 at 7pm, we are hosting popular NPR commentator
and writer Andrei Codrescu at Town Hall for a rare Seattle appearance.
We'd like to offer you and your students discount tickets for this
special event.

$8.25 Advanced Tickets (Save $4.25)

Author of more than 20 novels, poetry and essay collections, and the
MacCurdy Distinguished Professor of English at Louisiana State
University, the Romanian-born Mr. Codrescu will speak on "States of
Memoir, or How to Reconnect Old Brains to New Ones in Several Languages."

University students, faculty and staff can purchase advanced discounted
tickets for $8.25 directly from us. Simply go to www.tspg.org and click
on the "University Discount" link, or call me, Ian Shuler, at
206.706.3339 M-F, 10-5. Make sure to mention your educational
affiliation. We can take Visa, MC, AMEX or personal checks.

The evening is part of our "States of Memoir" series of events that will
also include photographer Andrew Miksys' Lithuanian Gypsy photographs at
the Center on Contemporary Art (CoCA) on Friday January 26.

Mr. Codrescu and the photographer will be available to sign copies of
BAXT, Mr. Miksys' new collection of photographs with text by Mr.
Codrescu, at both events.

For more information about "States of Memoir," please visit www.tspg.org.

We hope to see you at Town Hall, and would truly appreciate your help in
forwarding this message to your colleagues and students.

Sincerely,

Ian Shuler
