Hallo, English studenten.  Hier ist die Melissa.  Pass auf:  Berlin ist 
affengeil!  Roughly translated, Berlin is one of the coolest cities in 
all of Europe with a history and cultural texture like no other.  It's 
no small wonder that filmmakers are drawn to this atmospheric city, rich 
in both life and loss.  Check out the CHID program in Berlin described

UW study abroad program in Berlin, Germany, fall 2007

Sponsored by the Comparative History of Ideas (CHID) and the Department
of Germanics

Students from all departments are encouraged to apply to this 15-credit
UW study abroad program. In addition to exploring Berlin and making
various field trips around Germany, students will work with Prof. Eric
Ames (Germanics) to develop and complete a film project. No experience
necessary in either filmmaking or German.
