Subject: call for submissions

Sotto Voce magazine (www.sottovocemagazine.com) is looking for
submissions from poets and writers of fiction and creative non-fiction
for our first issue, slated for publication this fall. The submissions
deadline is August 20, 2008.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns =

I thought that because of your involvement in the university's
English/Creative Writing program you might know undergraduate students,
graduate students, faculty/staff, or non-students who might be interested
in submitting their work for review. Please feel free to forward this
message to any and all you think might be interested!

We are looking for original, unpublished, thoughtful, well-crafted
stories or essays of any genre, and quality poetry of any bent, as well
as original artwork, illustrations, and photography.

Our submission guidelines and a form for submitting work can be found
here: www.sottovocemagazine.com/submissions.html. A little about our
editorial vision can be found here:
http://www.sottovocemagazine.com/vision.htm.

Sotto Voce will be published quarterly in online format, and an annual
anthology will be printed in perfect-bound format. We are not affiliated
with any institution, and are privately managed and funded. Although
this is our first issue, we are paying $10 to $20 per piece, and those
rates will increase every issue.

Thank you for your time and assistance.
