The Lettered Olive Literary Review, The University of South Carolina's 
undergraduate literary journal, accepts poetry and prose submissions 
from undergraduate students attending any college or university.  We are 
now accepting submissions for our Spring 2009 issue. Cash prizes of $75 
and $25 will be awarded to the two most outstanding submissions in each 
category (poetry and prose.) Students selected for publication will be 
invited to participate in our spring literary reading. Please visit

Submission Guidelines:
- Please limit submissions to a maximum of 5 poems or 5,000 words of prose.
- Email submissions as Word attachments to olive at gwm.sc.edu.
- Manuscripts are judged anonymously, so please do not write your name 
on your entry; instead, attach a cover sheet stating your name, 
permanent address, email, and phone number.
- Deadline is December 17, 2008.
