Editorial Assistant for Paizo Publishing
Editorial Assistant duties:
*Aid in the editing of roleplaying gaming accessories and fantasy/sci-fi/horror
novels published for worldwide circulation.
*Take part in the editorial process of shepherding a project from concept to
manuscript to printed publication.
*Participate in the creative process of developing new gaming products.
*Perform clerical duties necessary to support a publishing operation.
*Experience editing for aggressive deadlines.
*Familiarity with the tools and software utilized in modern publishing and
pen-and-paper game design.
*Hands-on knowledge of varied publishing tasks, from writing to distribution.
*Opportunities to help brainstorm marketable products.
*Insight into the history of fantasy/science fiction and fantasy gaming.
*Printed name credit within a variety of publications.
*Free copies of newly released products.
*A flexible 20-hour work week.
*As soon as possible.
Time Commitment in Terms:
*One or more, as determined by the intern's aptitude and the supervisor's
