Seeking Educational Intern
College Tutors is seeking an intern for the position of No Child Left Behind
Coordinator. This is a perfect position for a student who is looking to gain
experience as an educational administrator or a prospective teacher looking for
supplemental behind-the-scenes experience. The Intern will assist with the
development of student learning plans, student lesson plans, student progress
reports and assignment of curriculum, scoring student assessments, as well as
assist in the management of College Tutors? No Child Left Behind program.
The goals of this position are for intern to come away with knowledge and
experience of program management, curriculum assignment, lesson plan
development; the understanding of the No Child Left Behind SES program;
hands-on experience working as an educational administrator; as well as
experience working with low-income, low-achieving students and Title I schools.
This position will allot approximately 10 hours per week. Intern will be
working in our office in Queen Anne, Seattle. Intern MUST provide own laptop.
Compensation will be in the form of excellent hands-on experience.
Internship preferred to begin January 4, or when school quarter resumes and
will conclude at the end of the school year.
