Every Thursday, 5-6 pm
2-5 Credits (depending on volunteer hours)
Graduate and Undergraduate Students Welcome!

*Teachers Without Borders and Pipeline Project Present:
*Education in the Age of Globalization:/ /This seminar will focus on 
diversity, socio-linguistics, and social justice in education.  Students 
from all disciplines, experiences, and interests are welcome!  *

/This seminar will:/
?    Discuss important local and global issues concerning cultural and 
linguistic diversity in education
?    Provide volunteer opportunities in local bilingual public schools
?    Connect students with international educators and activists through 
Teachers Without Borders, an international non-profit organization
?    Encourage students and UW to take action on social justice issues 
in education
?    Give from 2 to 5 credits per quarter!  (2 credits for 2.5 hrs/wk of 
volunteering; 5 credits for 10hrs/wk)
