[Englmajors] Applications to the Creative Writing major pathway are due this FRIDAY

Dear English majors,

If you are planning to apply to the creative writing pathway, please 
note that the deadline is this Friday (October 14th) at 4:00pm.  
Application packets should be delivered to the Creative Writing Program 
office in B-25 Padelford.

Please see full application instructions, including instructions for 
writing samples in fiction and poetry, at 
http://depts.washington.edu/engl/ugrad/ugapplycw.php.

Although the creative writing option is competitive, it is not highly 
competitive.  In any given quarter, between 50 and 80 per cent of 
applicants are accepted, so don't let this daunt you.  If you don't 
apply, however, you will have a zero per cent chance! :-)
