Lois,
Jay is currently on vacation so I will answer the question about the 720
field.
My understanding is that when these records were sent to us to be
evaluated, there was no distinction on the records received as to
whether the headings were the main entry, added entry, or subject
heading entry; nor, was the correct tag coded for whether the heading
was a corporate heading or personal name heading.
When upgrading the record please enter the correct form of the heading
in the appropriate tag and delete the 720 field.
I hope that helps.

Subject: [Enhance] Level 3 OCLC records
After the discussion on Autocat that I hoped wasn't going to affect me,
I have run across my first level 3 record that needs Enhancing. Am I
supposed to delete the 720 field if I put in a 100 that is controlled?
The training outline says not to remove anything unless it is clearly
wrong. This was correct at the time, but no longer necessary.
I would also like to object to only getting the Minimal level Upgrade
credit, as this record is taking a LOT of work!
