[Enhance] Enhance applications and RDA

Dear Enhance Participants,

We recently received a query about RDA records and Enhance Applications.
We are in the process of having the documentation updated [Enhance
requirements and application instructions
http://www.oclc.org/support/documentation/worldcat/records/enhancerequir
ements/default.htm] but in the meanwhile wanted to keep you all
informed.

We are unable to accept RDA records as part of an Enhance application
during the duration of the RDA Test.

That means we can accept only AACR2 records at this time. They should be
full-level cataloging records[Encoding level: I] that represent the best
of the library's work in a single format.

We will re-examine this policy once the RDA Test has been completed and
the report of the analysis has been shared with the U.S. library
community.
