[Enhance] OCLC-MARC Bibliographic, Authority, and HoldingsFormats Update 2011

The Cartographic Data Source Code "wpntpl", for Washington Place Names (Tacoma Public Library) (http://search.tacomapubliclibrary.org/wanames/wpnv2.asp), was announced by LC on September 24, 2010. The code was validated by OCLC as part of the August 21, 2011, OCLC-MARC Update installation, as announced in OCLC Technical Bulletin 260 (http://www.oclc.org/support/documentation/worldcat/tb/260/default.htm). It turned out that Adam had inadvertently (and uncharacteristically) mistyped the code in his 034 subfield $2.

Today I tried to input an 034 in an authority record with the $2 code wpntpl I expected that with the implementation of the changes announced that I would be finally able to use this code, which is at least 6 months old. But Connexion is not validating the record with this code. :(
