[Envir] Having trouble registering for ENVIR 300 or other spring classes?

Hi Everyone,

 

We have realized this past week that there was a glitch in registering for
ENVIR 300.  Thanks for your patience with us on this.  If you were unable to
register for ENVIR 300 and should be in the class, please send a quick
e-mail to poeadv at uw.edu and we will manually register you into the class.
You should be in ENVIR 300 for next quarter ONLY if you are a Junior or
Senior AND will be graduating either in the 2010-2011 or 2011-2012 academic
year.

 

Need a chemistry class?  Environmental Chemistry (ENVIR 450 E), 3 credits,
is being offered next quarter.  (Please do not let the course number scare
you).  If you take this class, it will COMPLETELY fulfill the chemistry
requirement for our major.  This is a good class to take if you still  need
to fulfill the chemistry requirement, not planning on taking further
chemistry (or classes that require further chemistry), and not wanting to
take a 5 credit chemistry class with a lab.  This might not be the best
class to take if you are planning to take BIOL 200* (as this requires CHEM
152) or planning to take further chemistry classes.  (*BIOL 200 is one of
three options for the 2nd  biology requirement - you can also take BIOL
118+119 (Survey of Physiology+Lab) or BIOL/FISH/OCEAN 250 (Marine Biology).

 

If you haven't registered yet and are not sure what to take next quarter,
please take a look at the online calendar for available appointments and
e-mail poeadv at uw.edu your desired appointment time(s).  Joe and I are more
than happy to help you find classes that fit requirements as well as pertain
to your interests.
