[cac-alert] Web traffic server failure

   Between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. today (Friday), Web based
   administrative services were out of service due to
   the failure of a server that handles Web traffic.
   Affected services included the following:

   o HR/Payroll applications
      - Employee Self Service (ESS)
      - Online Payroll Update System (OPUS)
      - Online Work/Leave System (OWLS)
   o Web credit card-related applications
   o MyChem
   o Student Personal Services, including registration
   o Electronic Advising Records System (EARS)
   o Time Schedule Updates,
   o MyUWClass
   o UW Educational Outreach (UWEO) administrative system

   C&C technicians have repaired the server and expect
   no additional problems. If you encounter difficulties
   with the above systems, please report them to
   help at cac.washington.edu
