[eOutage] Computing & Communications Service Interruption

From approx 8:00 AM until 12:40 PM today there was a network problem that
caused some of C&C's central services to be unavailable. The following
services may have had intermittent problems:
* Employee Self Services
* Student Personal Services and Registration
* Catalyst Services
The following services were impacted during this outage:
* Access Libraries' electronic reserve materials
* Access Libraries' licensed electronic resources from
off-campus
* Use Catalyst SimpleSite
* The following Human Resources and Payroll applications:
Affirmative Action, ESS Help Desk, ITL, OPUS, OWLS,PRPAdmin, RetEnroll,
Tax Forms, Time Reporting, BuildPerms tasks
* Modify ASTRA application authorizations
* Create EE departmental user accounts
* Add individuals with sponsored accounts to SAGE grant applications
* Create a new UW NetID
* Manage your UW NetID services via the Web pages
* Create Early Email accounts for new hires
* Sign up for MyUW.net
* Manage MyUW.net accounts
* Use C&C and UW Medicine IT Service help desk tools
* Create new Catalyst Simplesite and Web files accounts
* Create new Mailman list
All systems are fully operational at this time. If you experience any
difficulty please contact Computing & Communications at 221-6000.
