There are ongoing but episodic performance issues with the UW Exchange
service which at times has led to extremely slow email clients, a failure
to deliver email to Blackberry users, or a disconnect while using
Outlook. While our engineers have taken steps to improve overall system
performance -- and please know that your email will not be lost -- the
root cause is still undiagnosed. We have opened a support ticket with
Microsoft and are working to confirm that a recent change to Outlook
clients on January 4th and January 7th is responsible. At this point,
only Exchange services for Outlook clients on Windows are affected.
Updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
