[Esc311] Final project format

Hello class,

If you're presenting your final project in power point format (*MS ppt files
*), or submit a writeup for you final project (*MS Word doc files*), you're
encouraged to sent it to me (yrliu at uw.edu) and Rob before Thursday (or March
9 if you're presenting on March 10), otherwise you could bring it early on
your thumb-drive or DVD on Thursday. We'll be using Rob's Mac for
presentation, so if you have concerns (font, color, graphs) about your
format, please send it in to check.

If you need to print out *handouts* for the class (*MS Word doc files), *please
send it to me (yrliu at uw.edu) before noon on Wednesday so I could help print
it out.

*Naming files should be done as follows:*

Last_Firstinitial_project_
name.ppt

Ex: Harrison_R_biochar.ppt  or Harrison_R_biochar.doc

*Please try to embed graphs and pictures into your word/power point
document.  If you do need to attach additional files, please save them using
the same protocol:*

Last_Firstinitial_project_name_additionalfiletype_#.pdf

Ex: Harrison_R_project_name_additional_chart_1.pdf

*Please no emails to confirm receipt of materials--if you don't hear from
us, you're all set.*


*Again, please send in your project information if you haven't done it yet:*
1) student name(s)
2) topic/brief description
3) format (power point/poster...)
4) prefer to present on March 3 or 10 if you're in the morning class.
5) any questions or concerns you have.

We'll get back to you as soon as possible.
