Jesse wore his old-style ESS t-shirt to class today which reminded me to take a photo of the design I made a while back. It's a photo of a drawing so it's a bit splotchier than it would be if I had scanned it.
Since our shirts will probably be monotone, we'd probably want to change the lighter gray areas to maybe some sort of crosshatch pattern. That would make the tones be white, crosshatched black and black which should be pretty easy to silkscreen onto a shirt. I've attached a real quick mock-up of this I made in Paint. We could have more elaborate crosshatch pattern such as a set of vertical and horizontal lines superimposed onto the diagonal lines. That would result in the finished shirt looking more like the pencil sketch.
We should probably change the lower "Geology Club" part to say "Earth and Space Sciences" so the shirts will have more appeal/saleability outside of club members. If anyone knows Photoshop or similar we can fix it up to a publishable standard.
