[Ess_geoclub] Field Trips NOVEMBER 1st and NOVEMBER 8th!

Hi all,

 We've got vans to go romp around Western WA! The current plan for this
first fieldtrip is to leave UW at 9am (don't be too hungover from
Halloween!) and head north.  We'll try to hit up some Chuckanut Sandstone
outcrops near Bellingham, and then head east on Highway 20 to walk up a
creek or two looking for cool rocks. Nerdy, right? But it will make for a
nice Saturday, rain or shine! Hear that? RAIN OR SHINE!

 So please e-mail me or let one of our wonderful officers know if you'd like
to come. We can take two vans even if there's enough interest. It would
really help me to have a solid list of folks who will be there (with or
without hangovers--I will try to be without).

 We're still working on a plan for the next Saturday, November 8th. We can
go anyplace people want to go!!
