Well, it looks like that will be too much snow up at Denny Creek.  (Thanks for pointing that out David.)  We may do that hike when that weather gets better.
So for the field trip we will do some lowland hiking.  I know that there are a few old coal mines on the east side that would be fun to look at. Also there is the ROYAL REWARD MINE near Franklin and flaming Geyser.  I am not sure if we can get to the mine.  Let me know if you want to go on the trip and if you have any other ideas of where we can go.
