[Ess_geoclub] GEOPROM, BABY!

So, maybe you've heard the rumor. There has been buzz in the halls.  
People everywhere have been talking about GEOPROM. And, we can finally  
confirm it. GEOPROM will happen!

The vision of GEOPROM involved crazy dresses and forced undergrad/ 
graduate interaction at someone's house. But the people have resisted  
such structure, and no one wants to host it. Therefore, GEOPROM is  
whatever you want to make of it, and will be at the classy and  
luxurious Dante's in the U-District. Because when you really think  
about it, every prom should have a dance floor and jello shots.

When will GEOPROM be?
Saturday, June 6th, starting at 8pm.

Where will GEOPROM be?
Dante's (http://www.dantesseattle.com/). We get the entire top floor,  
which conveniently overlooks the dance floor below. It is quite  
perfect for videotaping/creeping on your friends boogieing from aloft.

Who will be at GEOPROM?
ESS Grad students/Undergrad students (+21)/Significant Others
GEOPROM will be most tender if you bring a date, but I've heard going  
stag is the new pink so do what feels right.

What does one wear to GEOPROM?
Dress is optionally but encouragingly semi-formal. We'll be at  
Dante's, so you can wear your pajamas if you really wanted to. No  
judgement. You can also go serious with this and wear a full-blown  
prom dress...again, no judgement.

How much is GEOPROM?
Reserving the upper floor of Dante's turns out to be free, and there  
is no cover that night. So, your cost of GEOPROM is: (# of jelloshots  
you consume) x (3 dollars). I estimate mine to be about $60.
