[Foodplanning] Branden's new article

Hello to all,

I thought I'll mention to everyone, in case you have missed it, a new
article that could provoke some good discussion, co-authored by our list
moderator: Branden Born and Mark Purcell, "Avoiding the Local Trap: Scale
and Food Systems in Planning Research," Journal of Planning Education and
Research, vol. 26, no. 2 (Winter 2006): 195-207.  This provocative new
article could - and should! - generate some debate, as it argues strongly
against the assumption that "eating local food is more ecologically
sustainable and socially just".  I look forward to any some lively debate!
