Greetings,

I wish to announce that the website for the Carrot City initiative (based
out of Ryerson University) has been completely redesigned and relaunched.
The address is www.carrotcity.org. It contains over 80 case studies on
design for urban agriculture. While the focus is on design, most of the
cases will be of interest to planners who are interested in urban
agriculture.

The website is based on the content generated for the exhibit Carrot City:
Designing for Urban Agriculture. The exhibit was first shown three years
ago in Toronto, and has become a traveling exhibit (it is currently in
Hanover, Germany). More details on the exhibit are available on the
website.

Another product that emerged from this initiative is a book, published by
Monacelli Press last September, called Carrot City: Creating Places for
Urban Agriculture. Details about the book are also on the website, at
http://www.ryerson.ca/carrotcity/book.html.

If you have any questions about any of the above, feel free to contact me.
Apologies for multiple postings.

Regards,

Joe Nasr
