The Center for Career Services is sponsoring two great employer panels
this month:
THE USE OF RESUMES IN TODAY'S E-CLIMATE and INTERVIEW FOR SUCCESS.
These popular and informative workshops are free and there is no need to
pre-register, but show up early to make sure that you get a seat!

THE USE OF RESUMES IN TODAY'S E-CLIMATE
January 19th, 3:30-5:00 p.m. - Gowen Hall, 301
Do you have the basics down, but still have questions about effective
resumes?  Get tips from employment recruiters with Capitol One, Safeco and
New England Financial Services about what they look for. Topics include:
how to strategize for success, electronic/scannable resumes, posting
resumes on-line, cover letters and examples of good resumes that can get
you that all important first interview.

INTERVIEW FOR SUCCESS
January 20th, 3:30-5:00 p.m. - Savery Hall, 239
They liked your resume and you have your first interview scheduled.  Now
is the time to really shine.  How do you get across to the recruiter
how effective you are?  How do you articulate your strengths and skills?
Observe good & bad mock interviews, hear feedback, and ask questions of
recruiters from Expedia and Washington Mutual. Use what you learn to
get that second interview or the job offer that you been looking for.
