Interested in learning more about scholarships? Phi Eta Sigma will be
hosting its 10th Annual Scholarship Symposium at the HUB West Ballroom on
Tuesday, November 14 from 2:30-5:30pm.

Speakers from the Undergraduate Scholarship Office, the Honors Program,
and the Center for Career Services will address the following topics:

-Scholarship 101-
Interested in learning how to get started with the scholarship
process? Then this is the session for you! Find out where the campus
resources are for scholarships and get all your general scholarship
questions answered!

-Making the Contacts-
Ever wonder why your professor wrote you a recommendation half a page
long? Learn how to build valuable contacts in this session! Building good
relationships with those who can give you a solid recommendation is always
a plus!

-Interviewing Techniques-
Whether it be for a scholarship interview or a job interview, this session
will polish your presentation and appearance so that you'll be walking
away with a confident smile. Come and learn about what those committee
members are really looking for!

-The Personal Statement-
Dreading that part of the scholarship application where they ask you to
write about your life experiences in "750 words or less"? No need to
stress anymore! Come to this session to learn how to produce and
award-winning personal statement!
