Subject: Great Opportunity for Your Students
Dear Professor/ Advisor,
My name is Katrina and I am writing on behalf of SCORE! Prep, a one-on-one
tutoring company. We help students improve and excel in academic areas, and
also prepare students for the SAT and other standardized tests.
We are currently searching for outstanding undergraduate and graduate students
to work as tutors in our organization. Should you have any students who you
feel would make good tutors, and who would enjoy this teaching opportunity,
please consider forwarding this job description to them.
Position : Tutors needed in the following subject areas: Math, English,
Writing, History, Languages, and Sciences. Tutors
will be asked to teach in their individual areas of
expertise.
Requirements : Reliable transportation, high standardized test scores, desire
to help others learn.
Compensation : $13-$22 per hour to start, with a regular system of reviews and
raises.
Working Hours : Extremely flexible & partly at the tutor's discretion.
SCORE! Prep is a company that is dedicated to the futures of our students and
our employees. We are interested in seeing our tutors succeed even as their
careers take them beyond SCORE! Prep, and are more than happy to provide
support and references for successful tutors who seek full-time employment
after college. SCORE! Prep and its parent company, SCORE! Learning Corporation,
also provide advancement opportunities for those seeking employment in the
sectors of business and education.
Lastly, we are intent upon using electronic mail in a respectful and
non-intrusive fashion. Should you wish to be removed from the list of those who
will receive information about employment opportunities for students, simply
send a reply to this email stating so, and we will willingly comply.
Thank you for your time, and for sharing this opportunity with your students.
Sincerely,
Katrina DiVirgilio
Academic Coordinator
