Reminder: the registration deadline is coming quickly for the U. S. State
Department's
Foreign Service Examination.

Registration deadline: August 29, 2001 for U. S. Test Centers.
Examination date: September 29, 2001
Examination location: Worldwide
(Note: the University of Washington is one of the U. S. Test Centers)

The 2001 Foreign Service Examination registration booklets are available
at the Center for Career Services, 134 Mary Gates Hall, and at the Jackson
School, 208 Thomson Hall.

The Foreign Service Written Examination is the first step in becoming a
Foreign Service Officer with the U. S. Department of State.

(and more!) is also available on the State Department website: www.state.gov
