Geography Teaching Awards

Dear Geography Majors:

Distinguished Teaching Awards in Geography

For the past several years, Geography department students have honored the
faculty member and Teaching Assistant they felt to be the department's
outstanding teachers. This award means a great deal to our faculty
and Teaching Assistants. So please take a few moments to consider casting
your vote for this year's award.

For the 2001-2002 Academic Year, we are instituting a web-based ballot
using the UWired Catalyst Tool called WebQ. If you have trouble voting
please contact me. The ballot maybe found by going to my website:

and clicking on 2002 Teaching Awards Ballot.

We are asking you to vote for two awards, one for Teaching Assistants and
one for Faculty Members. Choose the TA or Faculty member who most
contributed to, or encouraged, your learning this school year.

Alternatively, send me an e-mail with a few sentences explaining your
choice outstanding faculty member and TA.

Voting deadline: Mail or e-mail by 12 Noon on May 22, 2002.
