Meet successful Department alumni! (fwd)

Geography undergrads:

I've invited a number of Department alumni to visit this THURSDAY  2  MAY,
share insights, and answer some important questions:
"How can I represent myself professionally?

How can I express what have I learned as a geographer and as a UW graduate,
that is useful in an organizational setting?"

I feel we need some external folks to help us think about what types of
skills, presentation of skills, and illustrations of skills are valued
externally.

I expect:

Cary Kindberg, consultant, URS Corporation
Shaun McMullin, GIS analyst, Airborne Express
Bruce Tecklenberg, Director of Schedule Planning, Horizon Air
Christine Ynzunza, human resources (!), King County

We'll meet as part of Geography 493, in the Hudson Room (409 Smith Hall),
3:00 - 4:20 this Thursday 2 May.  I think this will be a valuable
opportunity, and encourage you to join us!
