Mark your calendars: Grad school application info session & workshop, W,
Nov. 5, 11:30-12:20
Now is the time for seniors to begin seriously thinking about graduate
school applications, and for juniors to start thinking about graduate school
as a possibility. To these ends, we will conduct a graduate school
application information session W, Nov. 5, 11:30-12:20 in Smi 409. Graduate
Program
Coordinator Tim Nyerges will lead a discussion of such topics as determining
the right time in your professional or intellectual life to attend graduate
school; identifying the right graduate program(s) for you; writing
effective statements of purpose, lining up those all-important letters of
recommendation, etc. We will share successful--and ineffective--statements
of purpose written over the years by applicants to our program.
