Now is the time for seniors to begin seriously thinking about graduate
school applications, and for juniors to start thinking about graduate school
as a possibility. To these ends, Graduate Program Coordinator Tim Nyerges
will lead a discussion of such topics as:
· determining the right time in your professional or intellectual life
to attend graduate school
· identifying the right graduate program(s) for you--in Geography and
other disciplines
· writing effective statements of purpose,
· lining up those all-important letters of recommendation
We will share successful--and ineffective--statements of purpose written
over the years by applicants to our program.
