Hello- You may have read an article in the Daily yesterday about a new
program we are sponsoring for students to gain practical experience in
working with in a community to address community concerns. 

The new program, Husky Neighborhood Assistants allows students to be peer
facilitators in the North of 45 community. Some things we have worked on
this year include gaining a better perspective about the student experience
there as well as safety and planning issues.

I believe that this could be a good partnership with some of your geography
student's academic interests.  I have included some further explanations for
you with this email.  I would greatly appreciate it if you could pass this
along to your students. Thank you.
