Dear colleagues -- I am a faculty member in the Department of Epidemiology
and Nutritional Sciences. I teach a course titled 'Physical activity in
health and disease' every spring quarter. I'm writing to ask if you would
please mention the course to your advisees whom you think may be interested.
The course continues to grow in popularity. Enrollment grew to 70 students
last year, from 20 students in Spring 2006 the first time it was offered,
and this year enrollment will be expanded again to 120 students. The course
web page is located at the URL below. I will be updating the page shortly,
however, the syllabus and related materials from last year will still give
you a good idea of the topics and learning objectives to be explored during
the quarter.
