[geogu-l] urgent: getting on the Commencement program

As you can see below, any of you wanting to get on the UW's June 9 Commencement Program must act by this Friday. Undergraduates must come see me or Allison by 3:00 Friday to complete a degree application--even if you don't plan to graduate until the end of summer quarter. Likewise, graduate students must have their Master’s Degree Request submitted or Doctoral Final Exam scheduled by noon on Friday, using MyGradProgram.

Dear advisors,

 

Normally we have sent you an email by now updating you on Commencement with the “Your Steps to a Great Commencement Day” attachment.  We apologize for the delay on this.  We are
working on parking arrangements for CenturyLink and should have that finalized tomorrow.  But we wanted to send you a quick reminder that there is an important deadline this Friday
(April 13) for students to get their names in the Commencement program. 

 

Spring 2012 Bachelor's Degree candidates must have their Application to Graduate submitted and received by the Office of Graduation and Academic Records by the April 13th deadline in
order to have their names listed. Master's and Doctoral degree candidates must have their Master’s Degree Request submitted or Doctoral Final Exam scheduled, by April 13th in order
to have their names listed.  Summer 2012 graduates’ names will be listed in the following year’s program. 

 

We’ll be sending out the full update tomorrow or Friday.  Please contact our office if you have any questions.
