Message from Dr. Lee Hartwell, President and Director, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center: 

In 2003 the Puget Sound Partners for Global Health was formed through the generosity of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and made available $500,000 for pilot project funding. We are pleased to announce the fourth year of funding for global health research. As you will see from the attached announcement, funding is available up to $50,000 per proposal.  The purpose of the funding is to attract new research, investigators, and collaboration in the Seattle community to the issues of global health.  I encourage you to share this announcement with principal investigators within your institution.
