[Ghrcmail] Announcing an upcoming conference on campus

I would like to inform you of an international conference to be held on campus on July 29-30, 2006. It is the second conference of the Asia-Pacific Economic Association. (The first one was held in Tokyo last year.) We expect to have more than 100 papers to be presented by economists coming from North America, Asia, Australia, and Europe. Many UW faculty members and several graduate students are going to present papers, too. Vice Provost Susan Jeffords is one of the advisors of the conference.
