[History Undergraduate Advising]

Hi to all,

I hope this week has been fun and safe with the winter weather.

Next week, History, along with the Economics, Philosophy, International Studies, and Communications departments, will host a student/alumni career night. Alums from all of the above departments will meet with current students to talk about how to market and transition your academic experience in the social sciences to meaningful careers in areas such as:

- Business/Finance
- Government and Politics
- Law
- Education
- Health Care
- Non-profit Work
- International Relations

This will be a great opportunity, but space is limited. Only 40 students from each department will be attending the event. You can RSVP though this Catalyst page:

After the first 40 RSVP's have been submitted, I'll start a wait-list. The event starts at 6:30pm on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012.
