Good afternoon!
Please mark your calendars and join us for the following event:
McKinstry Fellowship Brown Bag Lunch
Tuesday, January 25th
12:30-1:20 pm
Gerberding 193
The Joseph and Jill McKinstry Fellowship was established to offer a
one-year full tuition fellowship to an Information School MLIS student
from an underrepresented group (Native American, Hispanic American,
African American, or Hawaiian/Pacific Islander). In addition to the
one-year tuition fellowship, the UW Libraries also funds 10-19.5
hours/week of temporary employment in the UW Libraries Systems. If you
are interested in learning more and applying for this fellowship then
please bring your lunch and questions and join Abel Diaz, the 2004
McKinstry Fellowship recipient, as he shares with you more about what
the McKinstry Fellowship is, how to apply, and his personal experiences
as the 2004 recipient.
For more information on the McKinstry Fellowship, please also refer to

Note that the deadline for application is February 28, 2005. This
fellowship is open to both on-campus and distance MLIS students who are
able to be on-campus each week for the employment component.
We hope you will be able to join Abel for the McKinstry Fellowship Brown
Bag Lunch. If you are unable to make it but would like more
information, please don't hesitate to email him at agd2 at u.washington.edu
