> DISH! is a benefit for the film 'heart breaks open.'
>
> 'heart breaks open' is a feature-length narrative film about public health and community accountability. It follows our main character, Jesus, as he attempts to find his new voice after one unhealthy decision leads to an HIV+ status. The film features the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence as well as a cast of local queer actors. It is being set up and shot in a documentary style where actors are put in real places to improv each scene, while 3-cameras (operated by award- winning doc filmmakers) follow the action using a cinema verité style. We're using real Seattle locations and real experiences to tell a story that needs to be told.
>
> DISH! will be filmed in its' entirety as part of the film. Artists and performers on stage may also appear in the final version of 'heart breaks open.'
>
> DISH! is being organized by dual power productions, a media company in seattle, washington, producing films and books that strive to transform society.
