Our application for our summer undergraduate research program is now available and we were hoping it could be sent out on both the ECC/T and OMA/D (for EOP students) listservs.  As an undergraduate student myself, I often rely on both of these listservs for valuable information.  This program is a wonderful opportunity and we would really love more students to apply this year.  Attached is the application. > The GenOM Project provides educational and research opportunities for underrepresented minority students interested in genomics.  Our Undergraduate Summer Research Program is now accepting applications through March 1st.

> Students in the Undergraduate Summer Research Program will receive a salary and are limited to 40 hrs/week. The program will begin June 21, 2010 and end August 20, 2010. If you are living out of state and require travel/housing assistance, please inquire. Students in schools on the semester system should contact the director, Lisa Peterson (lisapete at u.washington.edu) about the possibility of beginning early. For University of Washington students, the program can be extended to September 26, 2010. There are $500 travel stipends available for presenting work at national conferences.
