> Hi,
> I'm Teodora Popescu, a student at the University of Washington. I'm currently working with One America, (the immigration rights group,) on a project about immigration and the UW. I am looking to interview 20 or so students who have immigrated to the US from any other country. The interviews will be about the experience you had moving here, (if my own experience is any indication there will be some funny and some serious aspects.) Some of the interviews will be on video, some on paper, but all will be made into individual profiles showcased on One America's website. One America will also host a launch of the project and possibly press release it to legislators/etc. Any concerns about privacy can be worked out considering how public the profiles will be.
>
> The whole point of the project is to let the community and other students have a better idea of what an immigrant is and how different stories can be.
>
> I'll be conducting the interviews for the next two months, at the interviewees' convenience. If you'd like to participate or know someone who would, please email me at:iamteodora at gmail.com
>
> Also, I'll be sending this information along to ASUW and all its entities/commissions, all RSOs, the ECC, Q center, Women's center, and departments, so if you know any community on campus that I have left out, please let me know. I want a comprehensive depiction of immigration at the University of Washington. Thank you for your time!
