Subject: [QFS] Queer 101 Offered Spring Quarter!!!

Hello everyone,

Queer 101 is being offered Spring Quarter 2010!!!! Queer 101 is a 2 credit discussion style class focusing on the analysis of Queer/ LGBTQ histories, contemporary issues and experiences. The class will be taught from a liberatory perspective and will encourage critical analysis and understanding of the intersections of queerness, race, class, gender, ability, age, and other social identities. This class is facilitated by undergraduate peers working with the Director of the Q Center and an Undergraduate Advisor. The class will typically be discussion focused.

The course is listed under Comparative History of Ideas (CHID) 496 Section I. The SLN is 11879. It will be offered on Wednesdays from 2:30 PM - 4:20 PM. Currently, registration is restricted only to CHID majors for periods 1 and 2. However, please keep the times of the class in mind and sign up when registration opens!
