Without knowing the sources very well I figure it's a matter of grepping 
for IDLE and seeing if somewhere there is a time hard coded. Then just 
change it to whatever you prefer and recompile. Can't break anything 
substantial, except of course the things it tries to work around by 
having this set at 2 minutes.
