In this program, the focus will be on Japan's wholehearted efforts in
education as well as its re-examination of the educational system in order
to
make it meet the needs of changing time.  The program covers efforts being
made at Japanese schools and interviews foreign and domestic experts.  It
also takes a look at new international exchange endeavors taking place in
the field of education in Japan and the U.S. -- two countries with a long
history of exchange.
