Hello all--an invitation for UW students to meet some short-term visitors
from Japan.  This is an opportunity to interact in English and Japanese and
make some new friends.  Please contact the sender (cc'd) if you are
interested!  Also, faculty and TAs--please forward this to your summer

Dear UW students,

Twenty Japanese students will visit UW this coming September and stay here
for ten days. I am now planning a cross-cultural meeting between UW students
interested in Japan and the Japanese students. I am very pleased to invite
you to this meeting at UW campus from 5:00 to around 8:00 p.m. on September
12. The place and time are actually flexible, not yet decided concretely. My
idea is to share time and enjoy meeting in a warm and friendly atmosphere
for our mutual understanding.
