an internship at Seattle Asian Art Museum! If you are interested, you should

Seattle Asian Art Museum Education Internship

Winter and Spring Quarters, 2003

EXTENDED DEADLINE
January 21, 2003

The internship period is for winter and spring quarters 2003. The intern
will receive $1920 per quarter (based on 10 hours per week for 10 weeks each
quarter), in addition to a $300 tuition reimbursement and a $500 travel
stipend per quarter. If interested, please send a letter of interest and

Education Internship Description
Designed to involve a graduate student in a range of museum education work
for Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and/or Indian art installations.  Areas of
responsibility may include coordinating public programs, contributing to
teacher and volunteer training materials, giving gallery tours for students
and the public, participating in collaborative programs with other
organizations and maintaining community contacts.  Flexible schedule.
Commitment of 10 hours per week for two quarters.  Requirements:  graduate
student in Museum Studies, Art History, Asian Studies, or other relevant
fields. Asian language ability is a plus, but not required.
