Hi all,

We are fortunate that the American Association of Teachers of Korean is
having their annual conference and professional development workshop
(Workshop Theme: Exploring Innovative Instructional Design. Conference
Theme: "Curriculum Development--Linking Theory and Practice) here at UW
from June 25th to June 27th. I spoke with organizer Hyo-Sang Lee
(cc'd), and he informs me that presenters have all been instructed to
prepare presentations in English, and that use of Korean at the
conference may be limited to questions from some participants who aren't
comfortable with English. He said it would be wonderful if teachers of
Japanese and Chinese would be able to attend.

Here is the website for the workshop and conference. I'll be at the
conference giving a plenary lecture on June 27th.

Please forward information about this conference to area Japanese and
Chinese language teachers. For further information, see the website or
contact Dr. Lee.
